Ray Cielo Briones

Hi! I'm Ray Cielo Briones, a passionate Full-Stack Developer and AI Engineer dedicated to building scalable web applications and intelligent systems. I am currently working as a Full-Stack Developer Intern at Codebility and an active Software Engineer Freelancer on Upwork, all while pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Cavite State University.

In my freelance practice, I collaborate with international clients to solve complex architectural challenges. Most recently, I re-engineered an AI Advertisement Video Generator, where I successfully optimized the transition from mobile to web and increased video generation limits from 8 seconds to 1 minute. By redesigning the system architecture and introducing tiered draft validation, I significantly reduced data processing time and API token usage, ultimately cutting costs and preserving resources for both the client and end-users.

My technical expertise spans modern full-stack technologies including React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript, alongside Python and C++ for backend systems. As a Dean's Lister, I combine strong academic foundations with a drive to solve real-world problems through internships, hackathons, and high-impact client projects, with a particular focus on AI integration and Web3 development.

When I'm not writing code, I focus on continuous learning and personal growth. I go to the gym regularly to stay fit and maintain a healthy work-life balance. I also enjoy playing my guitar, which helps me unwind and sparks creativity.

During my free time, I'm passionate about exploring new technologies and staying updated with the latest tech trends. I believe in hands-on learning—getting my hands on emerging tools and frameworks to truly understand them and discover how they can solve real-world problems.

I continuously learn through online courses, tutorials, and experimentation to keep my skills sharp and relevant.
